Date Range Source

The Date Range source node is used to generate a date/ time column, based on a given date part, listing all dates in the given range.

You can then connect the Time Intelligence node to generate the required date/ time groupings as usual.

Configure the Date Range Source

Add the Date Range source node to the data flow and go to its Properties panel to configure the date range column:

  • Output Type: choose between Date and Date Time.
  • Start Date: enter the start date or date and time.
  • End Date: enter the end date or date and time.
  • Time Interval: select the required level of granularity for the date column output. This can be hour, day, week, month, quarter, or year.

Click OK to generate the table.

Table Selection

Go to the Tables panel (image below) to select the new Date Range table and connect it to the data flow. Select the table and then click Add Table to connect it to the source node:

Join the Date Range Node

Once configured, the Date Range source's output nodes can be joined to other tables. You can also connect Time Intelligence to the Date Range node.
